Product Description
Explosion proof vacuum cleaners safely collect fine powders, petrochemical compounds and other liquids and debris. They are electrically operated and air operated and can be used in Class I, Group D and Class II hazardous locations, Groups F and G. They are designed with a 71.9 liter (19 gal) stainless steel non-sparking tank. In order to have a greater catch capacity, a tank of 113.6 liters (30 gal) is available.

ATEX certified industrial vacuum cleaners catch dust, so they do not alter the classification of the Zone where they are used / installed.
In the presence of gas, the vacuum cleaner catches any hazardous dust, but expels the gas from the outlet. The user should consider whether it is appropriate to install conduits to channel the outlet out of the environment.
